More on Gifts of Cash
Did you know that you can mail a check at the end of the year and still receive a charitable deduction? The IRS bases your deduction on the postmark date. To ensure your gift qualifies, we encourage you to send your check three or four days before December 31 to be sure the Post Office places a December postmark. Even if your gift is received is after the new year, it will still count toward this year's deduction. Thank you for your year-end gift!
